The method involves predetermining cumulated power drain-functions for electrical consumers (V1-V3), and determining electrical power to be removed from the consumers by the functions based on energy availability. The functions are determined from energy allocation-functions and maximum power drain of the consumers. New energy availability is determined during changing of the power drain of the consumers and/or during changing of the power by the cumulated functions, where the consumers remove electrical power from an energy onboard network based on the new energy availability. An independent claim is also included for a motor car.
