PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the degree of freedom for designing the conductive pattern of a printed board and to prevent the position of a main capacitor from being shifted because a worker touches the main capacitor by mistake. ;SOLUTION: An electronic flash unit is installed on the printed board 11 mounting electric parts for stroboscope from the front surface side of a unit main body loading a photographing mechanism. The flash unit is constituted so that a main capacitor 12 provided with two electrodes at one end is mounted by positioning the electrodes of the capacitor 12 near to an electric discharge tube 13 emitting flash light, making the side surface of the capacitor abut on the board 11 in the longitudinal direction and housing the entire capacitor 12 within the surface of the board 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
