PURPOSE: To allow a shell removing device to travel powerfully by stably obtaining the attraction force to a wall surface with good balance at four corners by the attraction effect of thruster vanes and obtaining the friction force of wheels without the slip by the effect of the wall surface from which shells are removed by a front brush. ;CONSTITUTION: A pair of right and left rotary brushes 9a are disposed in the position just before the front end of a main body 1a. The brush motors 8a of the respective rotary brushes 9a are supported at the front ends of links 17 which are pivotally supported at their base ends via cross pins 16 into the crevices 15 projectingly provided in the central parts at the front ends of respective frames 1a and extend to the front direction with the central parts of a horizontal connecting shaft 20 for connecting the casings of the brush motors 8a to each other via means of bearings 19. On the other hand, the central parts of the links 17 are supported via cross pins 18 to the bottom ends of moving rods of expanding and contracting machines 14 in a perpendicular direction fixed at the front ends of arms 13 extending forward and upward from the front ends at the front surfaces of the frames.
