PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplitude controlling method and an amplitude controlling mechanism of a vibrating type membrane separator by which need of visual confirmation of the amplitude of membrane module and of manual adjusting is eliminated and which is less in danger of breaking the membrane module and a torsion spring. ;SOLUTION: The amplitude controlling mechanism 11 of the vibrating type membrane separator 1 is provided with the membrane module 2 having permeable membranes, a plate-shaped base weight 5, a motor 6 giving the base weight 5 rotational vibration, a torsion spring 9 which is joined between the membrane module 2 and the base weight 5 and transmits the rotational vibration to the membrane module 2. Further the mechanism 11 has an amplitude detecting means 12 for detecting amplitude of the membrane module 2 and amplitude controlling means 13, 10 for controlling frequency of motor current based on the amplitude detected by the amplitude detecting means 12 so that rotational vibration of the membrane module 2 has set amplitude.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
