PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition not causing diarrhea, etc., during switching from a substitute milk to an artificial milk, having promoting effects on rearing, comprising skimmilk powder as a main component, a 6-12C middle- chain fatty acid triglyceride and 6-12C middle-chain fatty acid, etc. CONSTITUTION:Skimmilk powder and/or soybean meal as a main component is blended with (A) a 6-12C middle-chain fatty acid triglyceride and (B) 0.5-20wt.% (30-300 OHV of mixture) total amount of one or more of (i) 6-12C middle chain fatty acid, (ii) a monoglyceride of 6-12C middle-chain fatty acid and (iii) a diglyceride of 6-12C middle chain fatty acid to give the objective composition.
