PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and simplify manufacturing and assembling processes by providing a plunger integrally with protrusions corresponding to the protrusions of cams and arranged between the cam protrusions. CONSTITUTION:It consists of the first and second cams 12, 13 which are provided on a shaft 4 rotationally moved by an operating lever 7 to convert rotational movement into linear movement, a return spring member 14 which grants returning force to the operating lever 7 via the shaft 4, a plunger 16 which react with the respective cams to open and close a base switch 2, and a plunger holder 15 which holds the plunger 16 in an axially movable but unrotatable manner. The plunger 16 is provided integrally with protrusions corresponding to the protrusions of the cams and arranged between the cam protrusions. Open and close modes for the base switch are changed by swinging the plunger 16 around the shaft via the plunger holder. It is thus possible to reduce the number of parts and simplify manufacturing and assembling processes.
