PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remodel building exterior facing which is carried out without removal of existing exterior facing, only by carrying out external works without influencing the interior of the building. ;SOLUTION: This building exterior facing remodeling method is comprised of the following steps: (1) An existing wall panel (existing exterior facing) 4 is perforated at a location of an existing trunk edge 2 by means of a hole saw or the like. (2) A substrate removing fitting having a hook portion is inserted from a hole into the interior to be hooked at the existing trunk edge 2. (3) A hole blocking plate 17 is abutted against a portion corresponding to the hole of the existing wall panel 4. (4) The hole blocking plate 17 is fixed to the substrate removing fitting by means of a screwing means. (5) A new substrate 22 is fixed to the substrate removing fitting by means of a bolt 23. (6) A new wall panel 25 is attached to the new substrate 22. In this manner, the new wall panel 25 can be installed without removing the existing wall panel 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
