PURPOSE: To perform a formation of a high-density pattern at low cost without generating a strain or a deformation by a method wherein interlead regions are punched in order in a stripped material using a metal mold device constituted into such a structure that inner leads are divided into two groups so as to form roughly every other piece so that the arrangements of the inner leads are provided symmetrically and the group on one side of the groups is formed. ;CONSTITUTION: A stripped material, which is wound on a first reel 201 and consists of a copper alloy, is installed at a strip material feeding part 200 by a stamping method, a die and a punch of a metal mold device 100 are installed and while interlead regions 7a are punched every other piece in the material, the material is wound on a second reel 202. This second reel is installed at the feeding part 200 and while interlead regions 7b are punched every other piece in the material using again the die and the punch, which are used in the above process, of the device 100 without moving intact then, cavity regions 8 between the points of inner leads and a die and 1 are further punched on the side of the lower flow of the material and the material is wound on a third reel 203.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
