PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed circuit board defective soldering detector distinguishing true defective soldering from pseudo defective soldering so as to shorten a testing time. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a power source supplying means for a measured base board, a current signal superimposing means SG0 to a power source line and the like in the measured base board, a contact means 112 with the measured base board, and a detecting means D detecting a signal to be arrived via the contact means. The detecting means D is provided with a contact state distinguishing means making a discrimination between a first contact state, in which a soldering part 103a, a pattern 102 and the contact means are brought into mutual contact at the same time, a second contact state, in which the soldering part 103a and the pattern 102 are brought into mutual contact directly while the contact means is brought into indirect contact with the soldering part 103a or the pattern 102 via an insulator, and a third contact state, in which the contact means and the soldering part 103a are brought into direct contact mutually while the soldering part 103a and the pattern 102 are brought into indirect contact mutually via the insulator.
