PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely avoid the picking work in a crowded part inside of a working field by temporarily stopping a command for the picking work or sorting work with a command from a worker, and after giving a command about other article, restarting the temporarily stopped command again. ;SOLUTION: A cart 1 for the picking or sorting work has a working bench 5 provided with a display 7 as a data display device, a personal computer 8, a handy scanner 9 and operation keys 10 as a data input means in a top surface thereof. An article housing shelf 6 is provided under this working bench 5. This cart 1 is used for the picking work or the sorting work, and in the case where articles related with the picking work commanded from a terminal or the moving route are crowded by other worker, control is performed so that a command for temporarily stopping the command for picking work is given and that a command for the picking work of other articles has priority.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
