PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a crime preventive camera to be fitted to an existing elevator cab by constituting the fitting construction so that a camera body is fitted to a fitting bracket welded with bolts capable of being fitted to the side of a cab.;SOLUTION: This crime preventive camera 1 is constituted of a camera body 2 having a camera device and a fitting plate 3 positioned on the upper face side of the body 2. The upper face of the camera body 2 is provided with three engaging claws 4. The fitting plate 3 is formed as a whole into a circular plate, the fitting plate 3 is formed with three engaging holes 5, and further four fitting holes 6. A projecting part 7 of the same shape for positioning is formed on the center of the fitting plate 3. For fitting this crime preventive camera to an existing elevator cab, the bolts 12 of a fitting bracket 8 are inserted through the fitting holes on the side of the cab and just under a ceiling, and nuts 15 are fastened to fix the fitting bracket 8 to the side 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
