PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a motor and the bearing of a main spindle. ;SOLUTION: A cooling liquid flows through the passage hole 18b of a draw bar 18, the space of a spring for clamp 27, a passage hole 23a, an outer peripheral groove 23e, a small hole 22h, a passage groove 22c, an outer peripheral groove 22e, a passage groove 22d, an outer peripheral groove 23f, a passage hole 23b, an outer peripheral groove 23g, a front part through hole 1d; an inner peripheral groove 15a, a rear part through hole, and the like, in the above order, without being branched, and it cools a front side bearing 2 and a rear side bearing 3, and it is exhausted from an exhaust hole. As a result, the cooling liquid can cool the bearing and the rotor efficiently at a specific temperature, compared with a system to branch the cooling liquid into the bearing 2 and the rotor 14. The rotor 14 is cooled also by the air blown out from a air feeding nozzle 32. A rotary vane 34 improves the flow of the cooling air.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
