PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the preventing method of bending of a muffle in a continuous sintering furnace, sintering the products of powder metallurgy or the like. ;SOLUTION: In a muffle type continuous sintering furnace 10, a muffle 21 is disposed on a sintering furnace 12 and is connected to a dewaxing furnace 19 at the upstream side of the lengthwise direction (the sending direction of a body to be sintered) while the muffle 21 is connected to a cooling unit water jacket 37 at the downstream side of the same. The dewaxing furnace 19 is provided with turnable wheels 41 at the lower part of the same while the wheels 41 are moved on a rail 46 laid on a trestle 43 in accordance with the thermal expansion in the lengthwise direction of the muffle 21 and, further, the dewaxing furnace 19 is elevated by a size coping with the up-and-down direction thermal expansion of the sintering furnace 12, on which the muffle 21 is disposed, in accordance with the movement in the lengthwise direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
