PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and properly perform a desired pattern transcription work on an object face such as the surface of a fabric used in handicraft or needlework. ;SOLUTION: This method of pattern transcription comprises the following steps: a pattern is drawn on the surface of a meshy sheet 1 part or the whole of which has a number of perforations 10; and, in such a state as to superpose the sheet 1 upon an object face 3a for pattern transcription, the object face 3a is marked from above the sheet 1 via the perforations 10 corresponding to the patterned portion of the sheet 1; wherein it is preferable that the sheet 1 is transparent, and the former step is carried out as follows: the sheet 1 is superposed upon a pattern sample and the pattern displayed on the sample is looked through from above the sheet 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
