PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photographic element having improved color developing ability and improved dye stability by incorporating a supporting body having at least one kind of silver halide emulsion and specified one kind of 3-indoloyl acetanilide yellow dye-forming coupler. ;SOLUTION: This element contains a supporting body having at least one kind of silver halide emulsion and one kind of 3-indoloylacetanilide yellow dye-forming coupler expressed by the formula.
