PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability magnetoelectric transducer wherein adhesive films are prevented from softening by applying heat for thermocompression bonding of a lead frame and no damage is caused to a magnetoresistance film. ;SOLUTION: The element 10 comprises an insulation substrate 11, adhesive layer 12 formed on one main plane of the insulation substrate 11, magnetoresistance film 13 formed on the adhesive layer 12, short-circuit electrode 14 and electric signal pickup electrode 15 formed on the magnetoresistance film 13, terminal electrode 17 formed on the other plane of the insulation substrate 11, connection electrode 18 for connecting the electric signal pickup electrode 15 to the terminal electrode 17, and lead frame 19 connected by heating the terminal electrode 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
