PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear body tumble preventing device of an articulate type dump truck in a simple configuration using a drive device unchangedly without equipping the dump truck with any additional arrangement. ;SOLUTION: An articulate type dump truck is configured so that a front body 1 and rear body 3 are coupled together rotatably round a horizontal axis and is equipped with brake applying means 32 and 33, a differential lock actuating means 35, and an inter-differential lock actuating means 36, wherein the arrangement further icludes a sideways inclination sensor 23 to sense the left- right inclination of the rear body 3 and a controller 20 to emit a signal to actuate the brake applying means 32 and 33, differential lock actuating means 35, and inter-differential lock actuating means 36 when the signal from the inclination sensor 23 exceeds the specified tumble threshold.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
