PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter capable of taking a seedling from a seedling tray without excessively collapsing the root ball and transplanting the seedling in high efficiency. ;SOLUTION: A seedling tray 22 holding seedling pots 22a arranged in a matrix form is transferred with a seedling feeding apparatus 16 placed at the back of a self-propelled machine body bestriding a ridge with the right and left wheels. The root ball of the pot seedling is clamped and taken out with spatula parts 23a at the tip ends of a pair of right and left seedling taking claws 23 of a delivery mechanism 29.
