PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a photovoltaic power generation device without impairing sealability, appearance properties, and workability of the device by putting a solar battery module in taking-in grooves with sealing members installed to the tops and bottoms of the grooves in between. SOLUTION: A vertical retaining member 42 is integrally formed with a housing groove section 54, having a U-shaped cross section and a pair of left and right vertical module retaining sections 55, which extend in both lateral directions from the upper end of the section 54. The retaining sections 55 and 55 face the vertical module receiving section 47 of the main body 41 of a vertical material 41 and taking-in grooves 56 (module-mounting sections) for putting a solar battery module 5 are formed between the retaining sections 55 and receiving section 47. On the lower surfaces of the retaining sections 55, cast-in upper sealing members 57 are mounted corresponding to the lower sealing member 51 of the receiving section 47. The peripheral edge section of the module 5 is mounted watertight in the grooves 56, in such a state that the upper and lower sealing members 51 and 57 are interposed between the peripheral edge section and grooves 56.
