PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve error bit performance and to increase a system capacity by providing plural continuous detection stages and making the respective detection stages process reception signals and supply the gradually improving estimated values of traffic signals. ;SOLUTION: A detector/decoder part 750 is provided with a first stage 780 and a second stage 800 connected to each other and is connected to a receiver/ demodulator part 705. In this case, when one set of 6144 pieces of demodulation samples 730 are inputted to a block buffer 740, the block buffer 740 simultaneously sends one block of the demodulation samples 730, normally reception samples 730, to the first stage. The first stage 780 is simply provided with a non-coherent receiver 790 and the receiver 790 converts the block of the demodulation samples 730 to 192 pieces of traffic data bits 80, that are a first estimated value. The traffic data bits 80 are supplied from the first stage 780 to the second stage 800.
