PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that can safely assure high strength joined walls with small quantity of material without requiring ground self-standing during the joint operation of between previous tunnels being constructed in parallel. ;SOLUTION: Arcuate segments 30a, 30b are extruded in a manner being joined in the arcuate direction in turn from one side toward the other side of previous shield tunnel 10, 10, and then the tip end thereof is allowed to reach the other side in order to form an arcuate strip underground walls 50a, 50b between both tunnels, and further a following strip underground wall is formed successively n the same manner along the side surface of the previously formed strip underground wall, thus forming arcuate tunnel joint underground walls 12a, 12b between both previous shield tunnels 10, 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
