PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an electric wire of a single specification only connected with a terminal precisely with high yields outside a connector. ;SOLUTION: Longiluctinal grooves 3 formed of terminal fixing grooves 4 and electric wire fixing grooves 5 coaxially formed on the surface of a rectangular shape base 1 restrains a terminal(t) and an electric wire(w) in a width (lateral) direction, and side walls 6a, 8a of two lateral grooves 6, 7 formed by crossing both ends of the terminal fixing grooves 4 at right angle restrain the terminal(t) in a length direction. A pressing plate folded into two comprising a terminal pressing part 12 on one end of the surface of the base 1 and an electric wire pressing part 14 of a 'U' shape rotatable retative to the terminal pressing part 12 is rotatably mounted with a hinge 2, and the terminal(t) is pressed with the terminal pressing part 12. Then, the electric wire(w) is temporarily placed in the terminal(t) along an end surface 12a corresponding to a tip position of the electric wire(w). The electric wire(w) is pressed with the electric wire pressing part 14, and in this state a pressure contact blade S is inserted from an opening 15 of the electric wire pressing part 14 so as to press-contact with the electric wire(w).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
