PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the pressure-withstanding airtight sealing structure of a cable attaching part which can maintain a pressure-resistant airtight sealing state around the attachment part of a cable which is attached to the necessary part of a pressure container relatively easily and at a low cost. ;SOLUTION: The pressure-withstanding airtight sealing structure of a cable attaching part is such that an airtight sealing elastic member 4 is provided between an airtight sealing hard member 2 put onto the outside of a cable 3 and the cable and the airtight sealing state against a high external pressure at the attachment part of the cable to a pressure container is maintained. A truncated conical hole 2d is formed in the airtight sealing hard member and, on the other hand, the airtight sealing elastic member has a truncated conical shape which can be exactly accommodated in the truncated conical hole. The high external pressure in applied to the large diameter side of the airtight sealing elastic member and the tapered inclined surface 4c of the outer circumference of the airtight sealing elastic member is brought into pressure-contact with the tapered inclined surface 2c of the inner circumference of the conical and trapezoidal hole to maintain the airtight sealing state of the attachment part of the cable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
