PURPOSE:To enable safe, reliable, and rapid driving of a pile even under an adverse condition, by a method wherein a telescopic boom is pivotally secured to a crane body, the lower end of an elevating crane is pivotally secured to the crane body, and an earth auger device is installed to the upper end part of the boom. CONSTITUTION:A wheeled crane vehicle 1 consists of a vehicle truck 2 and a crane body 3 rotatably mounted thereon. The body 3 is rotated within a horizontal plane by means of a vertical shaft device 4, and an insertion part 6 is inserted into a telescopic boom 5 for extension and contraction. An earth auger device 12 is pivotally secured to a hanging part 11, and after a spiral screw and steel sheet pile are hung down in a position, excavation is started. This sharply reduces a time of assembly before pile-driving and a time of disassembly after pile- driving, and enables simple and rapid driving of a pile even at a limited site.
