PURPOSE: To obtain the quinazoline derivatives having a wide range of anticancer properties. ;CONSTITUTION: These are the compounds of formula I [(m) is 1 to 3; R1 is OH, NH2, carboxy, carbamoyl, ureido, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, 1-3C alkylenedioxy, pyrrolidin-1-yl, piperidino, morpholine, piperazin-1-yl, 1-4C alkylsufonylamino, benzamide, benzensulfonamide, 3-phenylureido or the like; (n) is 1 or 2; R2 is H, OH, halogen, CF3, NH2, NO2, CN, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, mono- or di- 1-4C alkylamino, 1-4C alkylthio, 1-4C alkylsulfinyl or 1-4C alkylsulfonyl] or their pharmaceutically-acceptable salt e.g. 4-(3'-chloro-4'- fluoroanilino)-6,7-dimethoxyquinazoline.
