Circuit device for controlling the speed of a dentist drive motor

The control circuit has semiconductor transistors (2,..5) in the motor current circuit for short-term interruption of the current and for switching the voltage applied across the motor terminals. A microcontroller (6) has a regulator (7) for comparison of actual and required rev. values, reacting to a rapid drop in the motor revs caused by a rapid increase in the motor loading, to switch the motor torque before the motor comes to a standstill.
