A luggage trolley comprises a strut 54 and a wheel 57 at each end thereof. A support member 53 is secured to strut 54 and disposed transversely to the longitudinal axis thereof. A rigid housing 49 at the end of support member 53 remote from strut 54 contains at least one telescopic member 51, 52 attached to a handle 5. The handle is moveable between a stored position, inside or adjacent to the housing, and an extended position. In the stored position the or each member 51, 52 is protected by the housing.
