AQUEOUS COMPOSITION FOR VULCANIZATION OF FLUORO RUBBER AND ARTICLE COATED WITH FLUORO RUBBER

An aqueous composition for vulcanizing a one-part fluoro rubber which comprises water, a fluoro rubber wherein at least a part of terminal groups of molecular chains thereof are non-functional groups, for example a fluoro rubber having a surface electric charge density of particles thereof of 9.6 x 10-6C/cm2 or less, and a vulcanizer. The composition not only has a long working time, while containing a fluoro rubber at a high solids content, but also provides a vulcanized coating film having a high strength. An article having a coating film formed using the above aqueous composition for vulcanizing a fluoro rubber, especially a roll for OA equipment, is free from the defects accompanying articles having a coating film formed from a conventional aqueous composition for vulcanizing a one-part fluoro rubber, for example, the unsatisfactory strength of a coating film.
