PURPOSE: A cage is provided to increase structure performance of a joint and to be easily repaired and reinforced after an earthquake by connecting the joint with a closed sectional column by a damper. CONSTITUTION: A cage is structured by attaching a damper(10) on the joint of a steel pipe column and an H shaped pile(2). The tail end of a web(3) is fixed to the center of the steel pipe column with welding or a bolt in the end of the H shaped pile. The edge of the column fixes the damper in a shaft direction of the H shaped steel pile. The damper forms an adapter plate(11) welded into a flange be in a right angle. Thereby, the damper has relatively large horizontal strength and sufficient plastic transformation property. Also, the damper absorbs almost all energy such as an earthquake with the transformation of a slit plate(12).
