PURPOSE: A method for improving a visual angel of a bistable twisted nematic liquid crystal display device is provided to equalize visual angles for all visual directions. CONSTITUTION: A method for improving a visual angel of a bistable twisted nematic liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes a liquid crystal composition and alignment layers(240,440). The liquid crystal composition represents two bistable twisted nematic characteristics according to the waveform of initial alignment angle 180C. The alignment layers(240,440) for the upper and the lower substrate which space out from the liquid crystal layer between them are rubbed so as to be initially aligned with an angle of 180C. The direction of rubbing is distributed with different angles for each predetermined region. A region with different rubbing angle is set to be a unit pixel region.
