The present invention relates to a jig configuration method for testing a CMDA PBA board of an ATM switch, and after setting the return mode of the cross board for the tex link test of the CMDA PBA board, it is determined whether the set liquid signal is transmitted. Transmit and store the initialization signal command for the virtual path ID to the memory section of the cross board, and transmit the cell to the cross board.If such a cell is normally received, the cell is received and the virtual path switching is performed to release the return mode from the test board. If there is a request to release the return mode by determining whether there is a request for the return mode, it transmits to the memory unit of the test board, stores an initialization signal command for the virtual path ID in the memory unit of the test board, and retransmits the stored cell. The cell is sent / received as many times as the loop specified by the test. As the release request is issued, the test result is reported upon release of the CDMA return mode. Therefore, test program data is transferred to the CMDA PBA board for independent testing, and the CMDA reset test, the DPRAM test, the self DPRAM test, and the cross DPRAM test. The IMI link loop back test, the tex link transfer test, and the redundancy test can be performed.
