Electronic question-and-answer device for use in school or home

The question and answer device includes a circuit which provides operating modes which are set by a mode switch and indicated accordingly (6). The modes include a demonstration mode, learning and testing modes. Questions and answers are prepared on a normal writing surface forming a question and answer sheet (7) which is contactlessly scanned using inductive sensors. A speech output is provided for indicating a correct or incorrect answer.
