New nikkomycin antibiotics with antifungal, fungicidal, miticidal and insecticidal activity produced by recombinant microorganisms

Nikkomycins Lz, Lx, Lj and Li are new. Nikkomycins of formula (I) are new: R1 = a group of formula (i) or (ii): R2 = OH or NHCH(COOH)CH2CH2COOH. An Independent claim is also included for production of (I).
