ft series of the title compounds (general formula I) and their acetates has been synthesized and their effects on various insects, mites and fungi have been assessed. The main objective was to evaluate the effect of the double bond in the side chain. Hence, the activities of the compounds were compared with those of similar (known) compounds bearing saturated side chains.
