Method and device for automatically capturing and tuning a frequency with the phase of a display clock pulse in a display device adapts the frequency and the phase of an image spot clock pulse in a PC display interface card

A clock pulse generator (11) creates several scanned clock pulses. A scanner (12) scans image spot signals for pictures based on an image spot clock pulse in a display interface card, then sorts them out and stores the scanned data in its registers. A data processing unit (13) calculates any scanned data differences, transferring them to an adding-up unit. When added up, the differences are transferred to a decision unit (15) to find out the scanned clock pulse with the smallest total. The phase and frequency of the scanned clock pulse with the smallest total value are adjusted to that of the display clock pulse of the PC display device.
