The device has transverse support rods (1,1') extending horizontally on the cubicle walls (2,3) across a corner. The support rods are may be inserted into the walls or fixed in holders in the wall, where preferably at least one holder is releasable. The holders may be supported in vertical hollow profile rails. A plate with a device to hang the shower head may be fitted to the transverse rods. A water supply (31) may supply a distributor (29) with radial bores (30) to spray water into the shower.
