Pair of cathode (16) and pair of insular jointing electrodes (14) for stress relaxation are formed on either sides of center channel (18), diagonally. The center channel has join marker (12) for passive alignment of array type laser diode. Several channels are arranged on either sides of center channels. An Independent claim is also included for array type laser diode manufacturing method.
