Functional display device with multicolored buttons

PURPOSE: To provide the button function display device for easily identifying the display of the function selection of a button at a controller such as a routing switcher. ;CONSTITUTION: A front panel 1 of a remote controller is provided with buttons composed of a source button group 2, destination button group 3 and level button group 4. Each button in this button group incorporates an LED to be emitted in green and an invar color and with setting due to an operator from a control terminal 11, functions are identified and displayed by turning on the source button group and level button group in light green and turning on the destination button group in the light invar color. When the operator depresses any button, the button is brightly turned on and it is indicated which button is depressed. The brightness of the turning-on display of LED 5 and 6 is selected by controlling switching transistors T1-T4 corresponding to an ON/OFF signal from a controller CPU 9.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
