The trap is an elongated cage (11), with an opening (22, 24), mobile between a raised open position and a lowered closed position. The trigger mechanism (26) is fitted within the cage and linked to an attachment bolt (32), set in the armed state, when the door is open, or in the released state. The door is sub-divided into two flaps (34, 36), linked by a primary horizontal axis (38), and with the upper flap, hinged on a secondary horizontal axis, and designed to fold with the lower flap against the upper wall of the cage, when fully raised.
