PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the flowing of inclusion into a cavity by collecting molten metal containing much inclusions at the initial stage of filling the molten metal into a trap part. ;SOLUTION: The molten metal M at the top end part flowing a runner part 4 flows, at first, into the cylindrical trap part 7 through a contracting flow part 8, and at the time of filling up the molten metal M into the trap part 7, the following molten metal M flows firstly into the cavity part 6 from a gate part 5. The molten metal M in the trap part 7 only circulates the inner part while developing the eddy current S, and the molten metal M once confined in the trap part 7 does not flow into the cavity part 6 by flowing out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
