PURPOSE: To transfer the kinetic energy of a large-scale framework structure being vibrated in a bending mode to a framework structure being properly vibrated in a shearing mode by regulating the vibrational frequency of framework structures constituted inside the large-scale framework structure so that it can be synchronized with the minimum frequency of the entire building. ;CONSTITUTION: In the respective stories of a multistoried large-scale framework structure 3 in which a plurality of stages of main beams 2 are bridged between main pillars 1 and fixedly connected, frameworks 4 are arranged between the pillars 1. A framework structure 5 is provided, in which the respective frame works 4 and the pillars 1 are joined by means of rollers, or damping devices that are effective to the horizontal displacement are installed so that the framework 4 can be movable in its installation direction. Tension columns 8 having an axial tensile force are vertically extended between the vertically arranged main beams 2 of the large-scale framework structure 3, and the tension columns 8 and the frameworks 4 of the framework structure 5 are fixedly connected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
