PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a specific electroinducible hydraulic medium excellent in preservability from the vicinity of one party of the electrodes toward the vicinity of the other party by voltage application thereto by use of plural electrodes to directly convert the electric energy applied thereto into kinetic energy. ;SOLUTION: A voltage is applied to an electroinducible hydraulic medium as a compound of the formula R1-O-CO-X-CO-O-R2 {R1 and R2 are each a hydrocarbon group (bearing atom(s) other than C and H atoms); X is a group of the formula [R3 and R4 are each a (branched) hydrocarbon group with atom(s) other than C and H atoms bound of not thereto; (q) is ≥0; (r) is ≥0; (p) is 0-3; the cyclic structure specified with (p) may bear substituent(s) or hydrogenated] or the formula CnH(2n-2)-2m ((n) is ≥2; (m) is the number of double bonds)} or a compound of the formula R1-CO-O-X-CO-O-R2 by use of two or more electrodes to move the medium A from the vicinity of one party of the electrodes toward the vicinity of the other party.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
