PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size vehicle for winding and extending a railway wire capable of traveling in a narrow site and easily switching between a road surface traveling attitude and a track traveling attitude.;SOLUTION: A base device 11 for attaching a drum 12 for winding and unwinding the wire is mounted above a vehicle body 2 in the vicinity of the center of gravity of the vehicle. A turntable device 50 is attached to a lower part of the vehicle body 2 in the vicinity of the center of gravity of the vehicle so as to be vertically expandable and contractable and turnable. A cab 6 is mounted at one end along the length of and on the right or left side of the vehicle body 2. Either a wire tension device 10 for applying a given tension to the wire in winding and/or extension of the wire or a power source 7 is disposed on one side of the cab 6, and the other is disposed on the other side of the cab 6 along the length of the vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
