PURPOSE: To make the outward appearance not unsightly and reduce a light leak from the front by forming a frame body of double constitution and putting the 2nd frame body in the space part at the outer peripheral part of the 1st- group lens of the 1st frame body at the time of lens movement. ;CONSTITUTION: The frame body has the double constitution and the 1st-group holding cylinder 1 as the 1st frame body on the front side in the optical axis direction is arranged behind and outside the 1st-group guide cylinder 2 as the 2nd frame body on the rear side in the optical axis direction. At the time of the lens movement, the 1st-group guide cylinder enters the space at the outer peripheral part of the 1st-group lens 7 of the 1st-group holding cylinder 1. Consequently, only one frame body is seen in its outward appearance although the lens barrel consists of the two frame bodies. Further, the 1st-group guide cylinder 2 is put in the space at the outer peripheral part of the lens 7 of the 1st- group holding cylinder 1 at the time of the lens movement, so the 1st-group guide cylinder 2 is put in the space similarly even in a barrel collapse state to reduce the overall thickness of the camera.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
