PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleating agent for a crystallizing thermoplastic resin capable of increasing crystallization rate of the resin and manufacturing a molding from the thermoplastic resin composition excellent in mechanical strength, and to provide the crystallizing thermoplastic resin composition. ;SOLUTION: A crystallizing thermoplastic resin composition composed of 100 pts.wt. of a crystallizing thermoplastic resin (A) and 0.001-30 pts.wt. of an amide compound characterized by the general formula (I): XYZYA (wherein, X is the residual group of rosin acid; Y is CONH or NHCO; Z is phenylene; A is a residual group of a carboxylic acid excluding rosin acid) as a nucleating agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
