SCAFFOLD-CUM-SOUND ABSORPTION SYSTEM ON BACK SIDE OF UNDER-GIRDER OF ELEVATED ROAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaffold-cum-sound absorption system having a good effect of reducing noise generated from vehicles running on a lower road and an upper road on the back side of an under-girder of an elevated road. SOLUTION: Small beams C such as a H-shape steel suspended on the back side of the elevated road or the like are installed at spaces substantially horizontally. Plural metallic louvers 2 are substantially parallelly disposed at small spaces between them, and bolted to the lower side of a lower flange of the small beam. A sound absorption material 8 is placed on the metallic louvers, and the top face thereof is held at the level equal to the top face of an upper flange of the small beam. A metallic corrugated plate 9 is laid as a corridor member on the top face of the upper flange of the small beam, and the intersecting part of the metallic corrugated plate and the small beam is bolted. The metallic louvers have sound absorption holes 2b on the whole surfaces thereof.
