摘要

PURPOSE: To speed up Hough transformation processing and to reduce the size of the Hough transformation image processor which extracts an optional straight line from an image. ;CONSTITUTION: Processor elements 5 in a processor array are allocated to respective quantization points in a Hough space. Each processor element 5 computes the coordinates of an intersection that a straight line crosses at the same time for each line of an image read out of an image processor 3, compares the intersection coordinates with coordinates of pixels as objects of Hough transformation to perform voting decision processing, and votes to a voting box memory 9.
