PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Chinese voice recognition device for a portable telephone which has high precision and very small storage capacity.;SOLUTION: The Chinese voice recognition device for a portable telephone has a key pad part for storing a phoneme symbol corresponding to a key signal indicated according to the frequency of operation of a specific key of the portable telephone, a microphone input part for using voice input for the voice training and voice recognition of a system, a mode display part for displaying which of Chinese-character input modes, namely a voice training mode, a voice recognition mode and functional operation mode, is functioning, a display memory part and a display part for displaying the messages of a mode function and operation on the portable telephone, a memory buffer register part for temporary calculation and the storage of data, and a speaker output part for the voice output of the portable telephone.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
