PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a nano-sized anatase type titanium dioxide photocatalyst not requiring a multistep process, and a nano- sized anatase type titainum dioxide photocatalyst produced by using the method. ;SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a nano-sized anatase type titanium dioxide photocatalyst, a titanium starting substance is added to a fixed solvent, an acid or base catalyst is added to an aqueous solution, and the catalyst-added solution is subjected to peptization while heating it at about 80±20°C to prepare an anatase type titanium dioxide solution. The anatase type titanium dioxide solution is coated on a support. The method comprises simple production processes, where various addition agents can be introduced easily.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
