PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely perform a lifting operation even if the container is loaded unevenly in a one-point suspension type container spreader used when a container is moved in the state of being lifted. ;SOLUTION: This one-point suspension type container spreader comprises a lifting body 2, a support body 3 installed on the lifting body tiltably around the horizontal axis thereof, a movable body 4 installed on the support body movably in longitudinal direction thereof, a moving cylinder 5 moving the movable body 4 relative to the support body 3, a hooking mechanism 6 installed on the movable body 4 and hooked to the hooking holes B of a container A, and an angle detection and control mechanism 7 detecting the inclination angle θof the support body 3 around the horizontal axis relative to the support body 2 and controlling the moving cylinder 5 so that the inclination angle becomes zero.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
